Rachael Harb

Project Manager / Education Coordinator / Grant Writer / Event Planner

Rachael is a project manager by trade and brings to the hub those skills, as well as an ability to turn lofty ideas into achievable actions and outcomes, and experience in event planning, both virtual and in person.

After completing a masters in Sustainable Urbanism at the University College London, where she studied Detroit from afar, Rachael moved to Dearborn in 2018. Having previously interned at the UK Green Building Council she reached out to the Michigan chapter and was introduced to AGI Construction by Ian Tran.

Rachael initially worked alongside Tanya, planning and facilitating the summer student to student collaboration with Congress for Communities and U of M Dearborn. Since then Rachael has played an integral role in organizing community event logistics, grant writing and project administration and being a critical force in launching the 18th St Design Build Green hub. Her British accent and laughter is a bonus to the team!

Rachael is excited to be part of a project that lives up to the ideals about place making and inclusive and sustainable development she formed while studying her masters.

For Rachael a key takeaway is watching the project journey unfold, engaging local residents in new and creative ways, resulting in a collaborative, inclusive work environment.
